Link content to labels

The label(s) you have created and the rules that determine where it/they should be applied are encoded below. You do not need to understand this data to label your website! However, if we are unable to upload a file containing this to your website for you, and if we can't e-mail it to you, then you will need to create a file containing this data.

To do this, copy and paste the data into a text file, name it labels.rdf and save it in the same folder as your copy of your homepage.

Step by step instructions are provided below but if you prefer, you can go back and either let us upload it for you or receive the data by e-mail.

  1. Highlight the computer code in the box below with your mouse, then press Ctrl+C (if a "Copy to clipboard" button is available it will do this for you).

  2. Open a new document in Notepad (you'll find this in the accessories section of your programs menu).

  3. Press Ctrl+V to paste the code into the file.

  4. Now select Save from the File menu. Towards the bottom, you'll see the option to select the file type. Select "All Files."

  5. Save the file in the same folder as your copy of your homepage, and call it labels.rdf.

Now repeat the process for the link tag shown below. Save this in a separate text file - it doesn't matter where, as long as you can find it! (Please note, there is a PICS label accompanying the Link tag, so your label can also be read by PICS filters such as Internet Explorer\s Content Advisor.)

  1. Highlight the tag with your mouse, then press Ctrl+C (if a "Copy to clipboard" button is available it will do this for you).

  2. Open a new document in Notepad (you'll find this in the accessories section of your programs menu).

  3. Press Ctrl+V to paste the tag into the file.

  4. It doesn't matter what you call your file or where you save it as long as you can find it again!
