23rd May 2005 ICRA has made its new system specification document available. Work on moving from PICS-based labels to RDF-based Content Labels is now in its final phase with the complete switchover planned to begin in June 2005.

Content providers wishing to label immediately should continue to use the present system. However, those wishing to label their content in the near future and benefit from the growth of the "semantic web" are invited to review the new system specification.
